Compete is on the hunt for an outstanding Sales Director to drive sales - and have fun while doing it! Compete is revolutionizing the way companies use the Internet as marketing, distribution, customer relationship and consumer research channels. Our Sales Director will be responsible for prospecting new clients and selling our data-driven media solutions and research offerings.
The Sales Director role will focus on selling Compete’s services and products to new and existing clients. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing the messaging, approach, and execution of all customer acquisition strategies. This role requires solid hunting and farming skills. You will heavily use both.

Responsibilities include:
•Consistently close new business and stay on target to exceed quotas
•Develop an action-oriented plan to target immediate revenue opportunities, generate new prospects, and grow accounts from an existing client base
•Work collaboratively with our client services team to scope out and execute projects and deliverables you sell for new and existing clients
•Constantly think of innovative ways to sell into the world’s leading brands, publishers or agencies
•Present complex sales presentations to very senior level players in the industry with ease
Qualifications include:
•At least 5-10 years of sales experience selling complex solutions. Digital media industry knowledge is a plus
•Experience using hunting skills to surpass required quotas and achieve high levels of total compensation
•An aggressive results-oriented sales person with the evidence of a successful track record
•Experience selling custom solutions and/or data solutions is a huge plus
•Experience making consulting-oriented presentations to executive-level audiences
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
•Demonstrated track record of developing and managing long-term client relationships
•Energy, passion and the polish of a sales professional
