Position Description: Palace is searching for a sales candidate to help build our Managed Print Services (MPS) team! MPS optimizes business outcomes through innovative technology solutions for our customers. We are looking for experienced and entry-level sales candidates and will be very selective in choosing who we ask to join the MPS team because it is a specialist role. Sales candidates must be sales focused, driven, and analytical. All aspects of MPS training will be provided by our team. MPS is an important department that offers clients a consultative approach to managing their current fleet of printers. The focus of the MPS specialists is to identify the best managed print opportunities within the present account base and new prospects within our focused territory.
The right candidate will be customer centric, self-motivated and resourceful, with a proven ability to multi-task while maintaining a calm, approachable demeanor. Requires knowledge of essential elements of the sales process, proposal development, contracts, sales orders, implementation and customer relationship development.
  • Set performance standards to leverage new printer sales, Managed Print Solutions (MPS), and Automatic Replenishment Programs (ARP)
  • Identify and advance strong vendor relationships with our key technology partners
  • Develop and document output through needs assessment, selective or general replacement of hardware, and the service, parts and supplies needed to support new and/or existing printers
  • Communicate value propositions to Director and C-Level decision makers
  • Build and manage strategic territory and account plans
  • Grow business through new customer acquisitions and add-ons to existing customer base
  • Establish a qualified pipeline of business and maintain an accurate forecast
  • Complete proposals and presentations while working to expand Managed Print Service market share via program development, contracts, sales orders, implementation and a defined strategy
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of outside sales experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Consultative selling and negotiating skills
  • Strong client facing skills with executives, owners, and decision makers
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Contact Management Systems
  • Valid Driver's License and Proof of Full-Coverage Insurance
