Job Description:
 
Assist and help facilitate the daily customer care and administrative operations for Palace Business Solutions. Provide direct support to Inside and Outside Sales Representatives on operational and administrative requests, and actively participate in managing bids, quotes, and sales contract requests. This may include pricing analysis, forecasting, creating proposals, developing performance reports, and providing logistical support as necessary. Position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills, documenting information, analyzing data, and must have a solid understanding of general online ordering, customer user profiles, and e-commerce.
 
 Primary Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Handle fast-paced phone/e-mail office environment with a positive, problem-solving attitude
  • Answers main company phone line to take orders, messages, or field/answers all general questions related to the business and daily operations. Assist teammates with projects as necessary, which may include juggling between multiple work stations
  • Ability to multi-task, process multiple customer purchase orders simultaneously, and source products as necessary to meet customer expectations and demand
  • Handle and process customer requests, order/product returns, customer online user maintenance, and other miscellaneous administrative duties as required
  • Sell the company‚Äôs products and services to regional businesses, schools, and general offices while maintaining company-wide margin levels and service expectations
  • Maintain a series of reports in Microsoft Excel, ability to interpret data and draw conclusions, and proficient in technology and modern general office systems

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
 
  • Self-sufficient, productive, and proactive in developing new procedures and efficiencies for general customer service, operations, and administrative processes
  • Build reports, interpret data, and react based on trends, margin opportunities, and sourcing deficiencies
  • Ability to manage customer requests, projects, and administrative tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Clear understanding of web systems, online account maintenance, product maintenance, and general e-commerce service expectations
  • Well organized, multi-task oriented, and must be able to make sound, logical decisions based on best practices and standard policies and procedures
 
Education/Experience:
 
  • AA or equivalent preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be a highly organized self-starter who takes initiative
  • Knowledge of the essential business functions, office equipment, service standards and procedures
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
