Position:  Training Manager

Reports to:  Director Sales Operations & Analytics                                
Classification:  salary / exempt                                                                            
DuBois Chemicals Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Training Manager. He or She will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs to increase the knowledge and skill sets of our employees. This person will work directly with Leadership to grow and develop our training programs to accommodate our onsite and remote employees.
Primary Functions
  1. Develops curriculum, materials and executes training events across all DuBois functions designed to increase the knowledge and skill sets of employees.
  2. Work with functional and sales leaders to determine required skills and establish training programs.
  3. Responsible for creating and/or sourcing training content, selecting presenters, communicating and organizing in-person training for DuBois Chemicals.  Will create training and evaluation materials for achieving advanced certification within roles and leveraging technology to advance remote training across DuBois.
  4. Develops follow-up actions to reinforce training content.
  5. Maintain and update DuBois University and training records.
  6. Conduct, monitor and measure monthly safety training.
  7. Must effectively communicate with employees and customers.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This role may include some travel.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements/Certifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years of related work experience
  • Creativity and the ability to innovate to manage cost and deliver high quality programs.
  • Highly collaborative with excellent team work skills.
  • Proven influential leadership skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (in-person and webinar).
  • Proven coaching and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and intellectually curious seeking to leverage current technology to deliver content remotely.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, webinar products, and other current computer technologies.
