We are seeking a talented Mold Repair Technician. We are looking for someone who supports continuous improvement that will advance and enhance our manufacturing processes.
TITLE: Mold Repair Technician
PLANT/SECTION: I I Stanley Manufacturing Support/ Die Maintenance
FSLA Status: Non-Exempt

Under the direction of the Mold Maintenance Supervisor, the primary role of the Mold Repair Technician is to support the production team to ensure that molded components can be manufactured safely without interruptions while meetings the company targets
  1. Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain molds including bench work, hand grinding and diamond polishing.
  2. Establish preventative maintenance programs for all molds to ensure ongoing quality and accuracy of molded components.
  3. Use welding and machining techniques and methods to repair defect and smooth interior of mold.
  4. CNC Mills and EDM set-up.
  5. Perform mechanic skills including hydraulics, troubleshooting and repair of production molds.
  6. Communicate with maintenance and scheduling on all breakdowns and repairs.
  7. Performs other duties, tasks, or projects at the direction of immediate supervisor.

Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience Required:
3-5 years in injection molding repair, or Tool and Die Repairs.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Knowledge in die cast, blow molding, vacuum molding, and extrusion molding is a plus.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing this position, you will often be exposed to moving or mechanical parts and moderate noise levels found in a factory environment. You must stay in compliance with OSHA safety requirements as necessary. Position may require travel, occasionally overnight, to perform essential functions. Position is often required to work overtime on little or no notice, and to work varied shifts to conduct duties.
