We are looking for someone who supports continuous improvement that will advance and enhance our manufacturing processes.
TITLE: Machine Maintenance Technician
PLANT/SECTION: I I Stanley Manufacturing Support/ Machine Maintenance

Under the direction of the Machine Maintenance Supervisor, the associate is responsible for:
  1. Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
  2. Provide emergency/ unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  3. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities including welding, MIG, TIG, and ARC on various metals.
  4. Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  5. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  6. Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and make adjustments.
  7. Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance on machines, and equipment.
  8. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  9. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
  10. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervisor.
  11. Comply with safety regulation and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience Required:
Three years in a technical or mechanical position required. Ability to read hydraulic schematics and knowledge of hydraulic systems.
Preferred Requirements:
Technical/ Skilled trades school with 5 years in a manufacturing preferred. Familiarity with Star, Yushin, Wittmann, Moto Man, Fanuc, and Kawasaki robots.

While performing this position, you will often be exposed to moving or mechanical parts and moderate noise levels found in a factory environment. Position may require travel, occasionally overnight, to perform essential functions. Position is often required to work overtime on little or no notice, and to work varied shifts to conduct duties.
