Springstone - VP of Business Development 
West Region 
The Vice President of Business Development works within an assigned Springstone region and is responsible for supporting regional and affiliated facility leaders in market development, service line strategies, physician and partner alignment initiatives that produce volume growth and improve market share in the communities that Springstone operates.
 
Vice President of Business Development will report to the Sr. VP of Operations. West region supports Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona Colorado, and Washington.  
 
Position Details:
  • Collaborates with Market and Facility leaders to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities in areas such as service line development, network integration, joint ventures, outpatient behavioral health services, and coordinated care networks.
  • Leads and manages Business Development leaders within assigned region
  • Studies internal and external data sources to analyze market opportunities, trends and competitive dynamics in order to identify and implement strategies in response to market needs and demands.
  • Works with operational and financial leaders to ensure accurate forecasting, proforma modeling, goal setting and measurement metrics for key business development initiatives.
  • Coordinates with Central Admin. Team subject matter experts in areas such as strategic planning, managed care, service line development, and acquisitions, to drive improved planning and performance.
  • Collaborates with other leaders to evaluate and facilitate activities necessary to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Drives execution of business development strategies by working closely with Market and facility leaders, and other partners, by providing expert advice to gain consensus and keep key projects on track, meet deadlines and ensure completion.
  • Troubleshoots through obstacles to remove barriers to successful deployment of business development initiatives.
  • Motivates other team members to help achieve business development and growth goals.
  • Monitors and measures success of strategic initiatives, including tracking volume, market share, quality/clinical outcomes, costs and other operational and financial performance metrics.
  • Generates innovative and forward-looking business strategies to advance market competitiveness and contribute to overall success.
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration or related field required, Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare business development required, knowledge of chemical dependency treatment principles preferred.
  • Experienced and adept in leading strategies that facilitate growth in competitive market environments with a record of accomplishment of previous accomplishments.
  • Experience leading and managing a business development team required
  • Proven experience in planning and executing healthcare growth strategies that produce volume, market stabilization/growth and positive net revenue and EBITDA
