Outpatient Psychiatry Job near Cincinnati, Ohio 
Beckett Springs Hospital, part of the Springstone organization, is seeking a psychiatrist interested in practicing evidence-based medicine in a patient-centric model with well-trained professional colleagues.  Practice psychiatry as part of a physician-led team at our warm and welcoming state-of-the-art behavioral health facility. We offer a wide range of services including inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient medication management. Position Details:
  • Responsible for the overall quality of care delivered to patients. 
  • Leads the multidisciplinary treatment team and participates enthusiastically in treatment team meetings    for his/her patients.
  • Performs psychiatric assessments
  • Provides ongoing management of patients and appropriately requests consultation when indicated.  Provides psychiatric consultation when requested.
  •  Assesses clinical appropriateness for admission and collaborates with the intake service regarding potential admissions
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA standards.
  • Completes all documentation requirements legibly and within timeframes established by Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations.
  • Ensures that medication management documentation complies with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Completes necessary documentation for all services provided to ensure quality care and compliance, and  works collaboratively and proactively with Utilization Management
  • Complies with all Medical Staff Bylaws and Medical Staff Rules and Regulations. Complies with all facility policies and procedures. Maintains professional behavior at all times.
  • Shares on-call schedule as agreed upon.  Responds to emergencies, admissions, and evaluations, as necessary.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities for the hospital.
  • Graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic school doctoral program and completion of residency in psychiatry required; board certification preferred.
  • Prior inpatient and/or outpatient experience  in a behavioral healthcare setting practicing psychiatry and/or addiction medicine
  • Current unencumbered medical doctor (MD) or osteopathic doctor (DO) licensure.
  • Unrestricted DEA and State Controlled Substances registration
  • Suboxone Certification
  • Understands and able to apply applicable standards and regulations (e.g. The Joint Commission, CMS, etc.) in his/her daily work.
