Rotary International seeks a System Engineer - Network and Telecom This is a highly technical hands-on role that will be primarily responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure and WAN services. You will achieve this by working with your manager and infrastructure peers to plan and execute network projects and manage day to day operational tasks. You are tasked with improving Rotary’s LAN and WAN environment by implementing updated solutions with a focus on security. Qualified candidates will have a background in network engineering or architecture.
The System Engineer will join a cross-functional team of diverse staff at Rotary world headquarters, working with IT staff and management in our Evanston location as well as our remote technology staff and leaders in our India office.

This position exists to ensure consistent network communications for the technology supporting Rotary International staff and the global Rotary community.

The candidate in this position must work at the direction of the Manager of Network & Telecom, but also setting individual goals and deadlines to achieve the successful completion of projects. With minimal direction, the System Engineer must deliver project initiatives on time and ensure that all network operations are operating effectively.
