General Overview
A Video/Audio Specialist at Rotary International is responsible for capturing our members in action. They bring the story of Rotary, our members, programs, and outcome’s to life through still and moving images. They are a hybrid staff videographer and sound engineer that must possess a strong storytelling and client management background. Ideal candidates will have overseen all aspects of digital video and audio gathering, video and podcast production. This role is integral in planning coverage with internal and external resources, field production, documentation and post-production workflow for internal and external resources. The Video/Audio Specialist will work closely with communications staff to support business units and broad organizational goals.
This role works closely with Rotary partners and internal communication teams to capture audio and video that support a wide range of organizational needs including; events, social media campaigns, websites, blogs, membership and member projects. Where applicable they will work closely with project teams to shape content briefs, develop shot lists, and related logistics. The Video/Audio Specialist must be flexible and collaborative, building sustainable internal and external relationships.
