The alumni relations specialist is responsible for supporting implementation of an effective alumni program under the direction of the Alumni Relations senior supervisor, concentrating on promotion of alumni from the Rotary Peace Fellowship and on creating opportunities for Rotary Peace Fellow alumni to engage in Rotary service.
Knowledge and Skills
Required: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), with international/study abroad experience preferred
There is no direct budget responsibility for this position
Works with Rotary Peace Centers, Rotary Service and Engagement, Grants, Editorial Services, Public Relations, Language Services, Data Services, Membership, Stewardship, Learning and Development, Design, Web, Meetings & Events, Financial Services, International Offices staff, IS, Contact Center, Print Shop, and Mailroom
Maintains outside working contact with Rotarians, including Rotarian Action Group for Peace and other Action Groups, Senior Rotary Leaders, District International Service Chairs, Cadre of Technical Advisors, District Grants Chairs, Alumni Chairs, regional coordinators, district leadership, Rotary alumni, and alumni association leaders
Equipment UsedPersonal computer (must have proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), copier, and telephone
