The Regional Membership Development Coordinator position plays an important role on the Membership Development team by providing general administrative support of Evanston-based and remotely-based Regional Membership Officers. They support the activities of the regional membership officer team as they seek to: (1) increase clubs’ awareness and use of key Rotary resources; (2) help to increase the diversity of club membership in their assigned territory; (3) support overall club growth; and (4) improve member retention in clubs in an assigned territory. The Coordinator is responsible for overseeing or supporting key team projects and initiatives, assisting with monthly budget activity and the annual budget cycle, and may manage a number of different objectives, projects or activities at one time.
Knowledge and Skills
At least three (3) years’ experience in administrative support, office management, membership or related field. Non-profit association experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), with international experience preferred
Review and submit expense reports as needed
Finance, Procurement, Rotary International Travel Services, Leadership Education and Development, Marketing and Communications, Public Relations, Broadcast Media, Global Communications, Corporate Services, Programs, Senior Leader Support, International Offices, Club and District Support, International Meetings, Regional Membership Officer, and other membership development staff.
Rotary senior leaders, including RI Board members, Membership Development Committee and Rotary Coordinators, club and district officers and Rotarians
Equipment UsedPersonal computer (must have proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), copier, and telephone.
