General Overview
Rotary International seeks a Business Relationship Manager who will be primarily responsible for management and operations of IT strategic initiatives. The Business Relationship Manager will ensure the successful advancement of CIO directives and the day-to-day management of IT business operations.
 
The Business Relationship Manager will join a cross-functional team of diverse staff at Rotary world headquarters, working with IT staff and management in our Evanston location as well as our remote technology staff and leaders in our India office.
 
You Will Have
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and perform multiple concurrent and diversified tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

  • Nice to have; ITIL certification.

You Will Be Responsible For
  • IT Strategic Planning: Works with the CIO and IT Management to establish the multi-year roadmap for IT and translating long-term objectives into annual and quarterly goals.  Tracks progress across all areas of IT against these goals.
  • IT Finance: Works with the CIO and IT Management to establish and track progress against both capital and expense budgets for technology spend. Develop technology cost accounting methods to track the total cost of technology by functional area of the organization.
  • IT Governance: Work with the CIO and IT Management to develop and track KPI’s to measure organizational performance.   Establishes dashboards to present KPI and technology performance against SLA’s.  Ensures proper coverage of policies, processes and procedures.
  • IT Sourcing: Works with the CIO and IT Management to develop IT sourcing strategies to ensure the selection of the best vendors for IT services and products by tracking vendor performance.  Tracks the resource planning of IT staff to projects to ensure proper capacity.
  • IT Communication:  Prepares presentations, internal and external email communications, and internal portal postings that represent the technology organization.
  • IT Operations:  Work with IT, Business and vendors in ensure all compliance and security open items as well as strategic items are delivered on time.
 
Other Duties as Assigned
Other duties may include, but are not limited to, working with Rotary’s customers on inquiries, leading department meetings, working on special projects, and testing system updates.
