Most of our cases are auto claims or workman comp, and some private pay. (No Medicare or Oasis!) . Ameristaff is proud to be CHAP accredited. No week-ends or on-call!


- Under general supervision of the Director of Nursing, utilizes the knowledge and application of nursing principles to provide clinical supervision of field staff, create 485 plan of care, and visit the home of patients when requested.

-Manage day to day operations in absence of DON, triage phone calls, review staff documentation, and provide customer service.

-Work closely with outside case managers and insurance adjuster’s. 60% of time is in the office with 40% visiting patients to oversee their care, making patient relationships and guide field staff in caring for their needs.

- Take field nurses reports and assesses need for other allied health care services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and home health aides, to ensure an integrated home health care delivery system, within their insurance coverage.

-Assist with in-services and staff training monthly.

-Conduct disciplinary actions with employees when warranted, take incident reports, and be sympathetic with customer preferences. Triage clinical med and IV situations. We go over and above to make clients happy!

-Comfortable in problem solving, clinical assessment skills, and concierge type customer service

-Must have excellent computer skills.

- Performs other related duties as required.


- Successful completion of a Registered Nursing program required

. - Current license by the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse required.

- A minimum of one (2) year home care nursing experience required.

- Supervisory home care experience preferred.

- Knowledge of acute care, or rehab, a plus.

- The ability to effectively communicate with patients, families and case managers is required. Must maintain a professional attitude. Must be flexible and willing to drive to see patients if needed during work hours.

- Required State of Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
