Culmen International, LLC is hiring for an Administrative Secretary to work in support of a federal government program. The Administrative Secretary will support a range of administrative assistant tasks including calendar management/meeting scheduling, travel planning and arrangements, meeting and conference planning and support, and other special projects. This position will work on-site with DOD and Intelligence Community personnel and requires a professional demeanor.
 
Requirements include:
  • US Citizenship
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance (we may consider candidates with a current TS and SCI eligibility)
  • Experience supporting  a wide-range of administrative duties in a federal government environment
  • Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Mail, Calendar, and file functions)
  • Experience working with a collaborative document management system such as SharePoint
  • Prior experience working with a centralized routing and tasking system (e-tasking system). Experience with N-CERTS is highly desired.
  • Proficiency using standard office equipment such as copiers, scanners, facsimile/fax machines, and audio/video conference systems
  • Ability to operate Video Teleconference (VTC) equipment and support meeting activities and schedules
  • Experience supporting calendars and scheduling for conference rooms, meetings/conferences, travel, and visitors
  • Experience supporting government travel and understanding of Defense Travel System (DTS) and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)
  • Ability to organize workload, manage priorities, and demonstrate effective time management
  • Strong verbal communication skills for telephone and-in person information transfer
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience producing written correspondence (email, letters, documents), conduct reviews for grammar, and present correspondence in the format and templates following office guidelines
  • Understanding of secure document handling and a “clean desk” work environment
  • Typing skills of 45 WPM or higher
  • Prior experience supporting NGA is desired
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in General Business Admin or related degree from an accredited college/university with a minimum of 2 years of secretary experience
OR
Associate degree in General Business Admin or related degree from an accredited college/university with a minimum of 4 years of secretary experience
OR
High School Diploma with a minimum of 6 years of secretary experience
