Culmen International, LLC is hiring for a Business Process Analyst to work in support of the Department of Homeland Security’s National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC). The National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center’s (NCCIC) mission is to reduce the risk of systemic cybersecurity and communications challenges in our role as the Nation’s flagship cyber defense, incident response, and operational integration center. Since 2009, the NCCIC has served as a national hub for cyber and communications information, technical expertise, and operational integration, and by operating our 24/7 situational awareness, analysis, and incident response center. The Business Process Analyst position requires someone who is highly self-motivated, professional, creative, analytic, and capable of managing their work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced federal government environment. 

Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Identify, document and analyze business objectives, operational requirements, and current technical business processes to recommend areas for improvement or efficiencies
  • Brainstorm and form effective solutions to business problems
  • Translate business processes into proposed technical solutions
  • Perform analysis of current organizations, propose process models for enhancement
  • Identify areas to focus technical solutions
Education and other requirements include:
  • US Citizen
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance and ability to obtain DHS Suitability
  • Related MA/MS degree from an accredited university - business or technical discipline preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience to serve as a reliable and detailed-oriented business process analyst supporting the review and assessment of current organizational processes for a highly technical cybersecurity organization
  • Industry-accepted professional certifications (Lean Six Sigma, Change Management) or equivalent job-related experience
  • Demonstrated experience in business modeling, business process design and facilitation, analysis, and evaluation techniques
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Proficiency in Visio
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence are desired
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including interpersonal skills for interviewing
