Deputy Program Manager - Army Security Assistance

Security Clearance Requirement: Current TS/SCI or TS with eligibility to obtain SCI
 
Culmen International LLC is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to work in support of Army Security Assistance and Armaments Cooperation. Qualified candidates will have experience working with Army programs in a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) environment and working knowledge of the United States Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC). This position is contingent on contract award.
 
Role and responsibilities include: 
  • Provide daily operational support working alongside Program Manager.
  • Serve as an alternate Point of Contact in the Program Manager's absence or as requested.
  • Provide oversight for a blended staff of prime/sub contractors and interact with teaming partners.
  • Support management for program resources including finances and personnel.
  • Work alongside Program Manager and support workflow processes to ensure that all product deliverables are met per contract requirements.
Requirements include:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Current TS/SCI or TS with eligibility to obtain SCI
  • 6+ years of program/project management support for Security Assistance (SA) and/or Armaments Cooperation (AC) programs.
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Business, Public Administration, Engineering or related field
    • Bachelor's degree requirement may be waived with 10+ years of applied Security Assistance experience while serving as a uniformed member of the U.S. Armed Forces or as a U.S. government employee.
  • Experience supporting Security Assistance on behalf of the U.S. Army and experience interacting with Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) and United States Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC).
  • Experience working with Army Program Managers and Army Program Executive Offices (PEOs) in a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) environment.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the following:
    • Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM)
    • International Traffic and Arms Regulation (ITAR)
    • Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR)
    • Foreign Assistance Act (FAA)
    • Arms Export Control Act (AECA)
    • Excess Defense Articles (EDA)
  • DAWIA Level 1 certification at a minimum (DAWIA Level 2 preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency working across the Microsoft Office Suite
