Security Cooperation - Logistics Analyst SME

Culmen International, LLC is hiring for a Logistics SME to work in support of Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) programs.  The Logistics Analyst SME will support the monitoring and delivery of Building Partnership Capability (BPC) programs designed to enhance international partner nations security forces improve logistics functions in order to maintain and sustain U.S. provided capabilities. The position requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management staff, Department of Defense (DoD) counterparts, as well as foreign clients and industry representatives.
 
Security Clearance Requirement: Current Secret with TS Eligibility
 
Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Provide programmatic and administrative support
  • Assist in coordinating and facilitating information
  • Foster interdepartmental relationships
  • Perform research and analyze data
  • Produce reports
  • Develop delivery forecasts
  • Assist in logistics policy revisions
Education and experience requirements include:
  • US Citizen
  • Current Top Secret clearance or current Secret and eligible to upgrade to TS
  • BA/BS
  • Experience in logistics systems and management, and/or process improvements
  • 3+ years of recent work experience (within last 5 years) related to an understanding of Security Cooperation Building Partner Capacity (BPC) Programs and its related fields of logistics, transportation, delivery and current security cooperation database management tools
  • Experience supporting BPC programs for military requirements and capability development, and Global Train and Equip programs through the FMS process
  • Knowledge and prior experience in Security Assistance policy and procedure, related legislation with the ability to assist in the management of complex operations
  • Ability to foster a positive relationship with DoD Agencies, State Department, respective Combatant Commanders, Joint Staff, and Military Departments and in country Security Cooperation Officers in the allocation and execution of BPC activities/programs to enhance partner nation institutional capacity in the logistics field
  • MS Office Suite including:
    • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Must be proficient with Excel to perform data evaluation, formulas, analytics and spreadsheets
    • Must be able to transfer presentation graphics from Excel into PowerPoint or Word
    • Experience with SharePoint, Access database, graphical arts, and media presentations
  • Strong analytical and research skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
