Culmen International, LLC is hiring for an experience Systems Administrator to support the State Department’s Refugee Processing Center in Arlington (Rosslyn), Virginia.
 
Role and responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for supporting the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of agency wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs)
  • Assist in designing and managing the WAN infrastructure and any processes related to the WAN
  • Provide Production Support of the Network, including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution of client Networks
  • Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
  • Support the dispatch of circuit and hardware vendors involved in the resolution process
  • Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Education and experience requirements include:
  • US Citizen
  • Current Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Information Technology or other relevant domain, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4 – 7 years of hands-on experience in similar work
  • Experience supporting Windows Server 2008MS SQL 2008MS IIS 6.0MS ExchangeVMWare, including but not limited to VMware ESXivCentervROP and vRA
  • Experience with Palo Alto and SolarWinds
  • Experience maintain and administering Active Directory environment and Group Policy Objects, and Exchange
  • Working knowledge of local area network hardware and software operations, maintenance, performance tuning and trouble shooting.
  • Experience with MS SCCMCitrixPalo AltoDNN EVOQSolarWindsSPLUNKSymantec (desired)
