Culmen International, LLC is hiring an Executive Assistant to work in support of the Department of Homeland Security’s National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center Support (NCCIC).  Information sharing is a key part of the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) mission to create shared situational awareness of malicious cyber activity. Cyberspace has united once distinct information structures, including our business and government operations, our emergency preparedness communications, and our critical digital and process control systems and infrastructures. Protection of these systems is essential to the resilience and reliability of the nation’s critical infrastructure and key resources; therefore, to our economic and national security. DHS's National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC) is a 24x7 cyber situational awareness, incident response, and management center that is a national nexus of cyber and communications integration for the Federal Government, intelligence community, and law enforcement. 
 
Role and responsibilities include:
  • Assist the Government in the day-to-day coordination of mission support and office operations including office management activities, information technology support, training, emergency planning, files management, and administrative support.
  • Provide support to the government Executive Secretariat (Exec Sec) function, including developing proposed responses for tasks, coordinating the draft responses with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and compiling the program response, and submitting the program response via the Exec Sec process.
  • Advise and assist in the development of standardized office policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Advise and assist in the development and implementation of processes to track all correspondence, deliverables, action items, and issues and ensure the timely and accurate execution of all task requests from outside NCCIC.
  • Assist the government in planning and organizing project-related meetings; including scheduling meetings, capturing action items, documenting meeting minutes, and distributing minutes to attendees and/or Integrated Project Team (IPT) members.
  • Provide SME support for the development and maintenance of collaboration environments, to include but not limited to the government’s organizational Microsoft SharePoint environment, functionality, content management, and training.
  • Provide SME support for training management, data tracking, and tracking of training related issues.
  • Provide SME to support the government with the planning and development of senior level presentations and briefings.
  • Provide the government with office coordination support including but not limited to: office logistics planning, including space/facilities planning for offices and geographically dispersed NSD operation centers, emergency preparedness and new employee orientation.
  • Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. 
Experience and requirements include:
  • US Citizen
  • Current Top Secret security clearance and eligibility to obtain DHS Suitability
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience proving Executive Assistant support to government leadership and SME staff
  • Experience managing schedules, tasks, and tracker activities and coordinating information for SME staff and management
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint document management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong writing skills including experience drafting program documents and generating responses for SME
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
