Nonproliferation Strategy and Analytic Specialist

Culmen International, LLC is hiring for a Nonproliferation Strategy and Analytic Specialist to fill an immediate contractor position on a U.S. government nonproliferation program. This position requires an exceptional mid-level candidate with 5+ years of experience in direct support to federal government programs. 

Job Duties:
  • Develops, communicates, executes, and sustains nonproliferation strategic initiatives to evolve the prevention of the illicit acquisition, smuggling, or use of nuclear and radioactive materials
  • Works very closely with upper-management personnel to fulfill both short and long-term goals focusing on Risk, Technology, Data Integration and Analysis, Strategy, and Communication area development
  • Acts as a service provider for program office-level requirements, offering country-level research, data analytics, risk analysis, modeling and simulation, technical analysis, and horizon scanning
  • Researches projects for target regions to prioritize specific area(s) of interest for nonproliferation capability development 
  • Uses familiarity with nonproliferation-related laws and policies to focus USG interagency and international stakeholders to assess the potential for adapting risk assessment methodologies 
  • Provides project management expertise
  • Leads the development and completion of briefings or white papers as necessary
  • Works with program leadership to ensure budget is executed on schedule
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned
Education and other requirements:
  • US Citizen
  • Active DOE Q Clearance is mandatory (Secret or Top Secret are not accepted for this role)
  • B.A./B.S. Degree or higher degree
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • 5+ years working experience in federal government sector
  • Experience working in a U.S. government security program preferred
  • Extensive experience with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be a fast learner and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests
  • Experience in nonproliferation field preferred
  • Previous work with intelligence community preferred
