RECENT COLLEGE GRADUATE
 
The Systems Analyst I is responsible for supporting, documenting, and, assisting in the continued development of the enterprise information systems.  The Systems Analyst I understands the application of business requirements within information system solutions.  As a resource/support to Tier II, the Systems Analyst I will fulfill multiple client service requests concurrently, monitors data and process quality, and, seeks assistance from more senior IS staff as appropriate.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: (include but are not limited to)
Systems Analyst I:
  • Evaluates and documents data elements from both primary and secondary sources to understand their usage, transformations, lifecycle and quality/suitability, including Data Profiling
  • Captures, comprehends, and documents data definitions, business rules, data quality requirements, and logical and physical data models based on requirements, ensuring alignment with business values
  • Provides 24x7 support for all enterprise information systems as well as the associated systems and reporting tools, utilizing vendor assistance as needed
  • Assists in the tactical implementation of technology projects and provides on-going technology support
  • Carries out all policies and procedures as established by the team, department or company at large
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES
Systems Analyst I (Required):
  • BS in related discipline (Information Science or Computer Science)
  • 0-3 years of work experience
  • Displays technical fluency in MS Office applications, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong financial/business acumen
  • Must be able to pass a full and comprehensive background check
Preferred:
  • 0-1 years Computer Science experience
  • Prior experience in a production support environment and/or dealing with issue resolution
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Experience with Telecommunications operations
