NEX-Training and Associate Development-Assistant Manager-Job Description
 
Roles/Responsibilities/Functions:
 
 
•Conducts training and development needs assessment for all associate levels.
•Develop curriculum and update existing curriculum.
•Integrate external training resources into curriculum and program design.
•Research training supplies and material as needed.
•Possess strong presentation skills and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
•Design, maintain propose training and development programs and objectives.
•Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
•Communication programs to employees and managers.
•Modifies programs as needed.
•Prepare and document procedures for associates who are assigned as trainers/mentors.
•Translate company strategies into actionable training initiatives.
•Exemplifies the desired culture of management and the HR staff.
•Special project as assigned and other responsibilities as determined by the HR Division Manager.
•Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.
•Special projects as assigned or other duties in or out of the department as directed by Management.
 
 
Qualifications:
 
•Degree in Organizational Development or related field or have at least 3 years of previous experience in adult learning and development related responsibilities.
•Possess strong presentation skills and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
•Expert proficiency in implementing HR strategy/practices, particularly: orientation, training/learning.
•Critical thinking & judgement- - ability to identify and understand a business problem/challenge, determine range of alternatives/options, recommend/adopt a solution and execute.
•Understand the business operations from a tactical and operational perspective.
•Exercise sound judgment, with the ability to process/seek out information from multiple sources and deliver decisions/recommendations that are fair, balanced, and impartial.
•Demonstrated ability to: influence and negotiation, communicate (both written and verbal).
•Ability to maintain confidentiality
•Ability to accept criticism, deal calmly and effectively in high stress situations, and multi-task.
