Job Description
We are a fast growing, fun loving, patient centered, pediatric dental practice located in Sugar Land, TX.
We have an awesome team, and we are looking for other great people to join us in our mission to provide exceptional pediatric dental care to the children in Sugar Land Texas.
We are looking for an Associate Pediatric Dentist to join our Sugar Land team. The expectations of this role includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Infant oral health exams, which include risk assessment for caries in mother and child
  • Preventive dental care including cleaning and fluoride treatments, as well as nutrition and diet recommendations
  • Habit counseling (for example, pacifier use and thumb sucking)
  • Early assessment and treatment for straightening teeth and correcting an improper bite (orthodontics)
  • Repair of tooth cavities or defects
  • Diagnosis of oral conditions associated with diseases such as diabetes, congenital heart defect, asthma, hay fever, and attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder
  • Management of gum diseases and conditions including ulcers, short frenulae, mucoceles, and pediatric periodontal disease
  • Care for dental injuries (for example, fractured, displaced, or knocked-out teeth)
Additionally, the ideal candidate must be comfortable and confident in performing dental treatment in a hospital, surgery center or in-office with an anesthesiologist partner.

Qualification
  • DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
  • Completed a Pediatric Residency accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
  • Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the state of Texas (License must be in good standing) or eligible for licensure.
  • Other certifications as required by the state of Texas to include- CPR, DEA, etc.
