Meeder offers a wide variety of financial solutions, including Mutual Funds, Separately Managed Accounts, Cash Management and Retirement Plan Services. The firm’s affiliates include three registered investment advisors, a limited purpose broker-dealer, a transfer agency, and the Meeder Funds mutual fund family.

The Meeder Retirement Plan Services (RPS) Team provides nationwide consultation on investment and retirement plan solutions to institutional intermediaries, retirement plan consultants, advisers and their clients. The RPS Team is adding a seasoned, high caliber Investment Consultant situated in and covering the Western Region of the US. The candidate must reside in the Western Region, preferably in Texas or Colorado and have established contacts, strong relationships, and a proven track record in new business development. The Regional Managing Director will drive sales of retirement plan investment offerings which include managed accounts, Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO) and plan level fiduciary services.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Regional Investment Consultants to generate sales for Meeder Investment Management
  • Responsible for creating and managing existing relationships with retirement advisors and intermediaries by providing financial insight, product information and details on value-added sales tools using a consultative sales process
  • Develop and implement territory business plans to maximize sales and deepen relationships
  • Participate in regional and national conferences as needed
  • Maintain relationships with current clientele and serve as point-of-contact for ongoing service needs
  • Work with marketing to ensure material is effective at driving sales and retention efforts

  • Expert knowledge of retirement marketplace
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial intermediary marketplace
  • Proven consultative sales approach, with the ability to listen to clients/prospects needs and help identify and provide solutions
  • Strong, proven presentation and communication skills
  • Self-starter with drive to undertake challenging projects
  • Ability to manage multi-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel extensively as business needs dictate
Skills Required:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years investment industry experience, preferably with retirement plans
  • FINRA Series 6, 7, or 65 preferred
  • Advanced designations, such as CFP, CIMA, AIF a plus
