Human Resources Coordinator
Normal Working Hours/Days: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for a variety of Human Resources administrative duties.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
▪Coordinate and administer employee orientation and onboarding of new employees.
▪Distribute performance evaluations and pay change notices to supervisors.
▪Post job openings in applicant tracking system.
▪Manage workers’ compensation and FMLA claims process.
▪Oversee unemployment claim management and attend claim hearings, as required.
▪Complete employment verifications for internal and external employees.
▪Facilitate annual benefits open enrollment and Wellness Screening.
▪Maintain personnel files.
▪Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field; 2 years of HR experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
▪Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
▪Excellent customer service skills.
▪Ability to work with minimal supervision.
▪Excellent organization, presentation, writing and communication skills.
▪Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel) and proficiency in HRM systems.
