REPORTS TO: Senior Manager of Online Education
EMPLOYEE STATUS: Exempt (Minimum of 37.5 hours/week)


The Online Education Program Manager is responsible for identifying, cataloging and managing content for the online resource library for Society. This role will apply knowledge of catalog constructs and database operation to ensure the appropriate management of all resources into a comprehensive resource library for the Society’s website and educational portal. This role facilitates external partnerships with the goal of increasing online resources. This role also supports online components of educational programs.

  • Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Online Education and the Director of Education, catalog existing and future educational resources into a comprehensive educational curriculum library
  • Work with necessary committees and leaders to identify, review, edit and update the content within the resource library when content changes, new programs/services are added and/or products are introduced
  • Initiate and maintain resource-sharing partnerships to increase the amount and variety of resources in the resource library
  • Refine and maintain a resource cataloging system that enables users to easily finding resources
  • Monitor educational content in order to ensure online offerings are up to date with the most current content available, including the continual review of existing resources to identify if updates or edits are required
  • Facilitate and moderate educational webinars by managing the production timelines, working with subject matter experts, running the online webinar software and collecting attendee feedback
  • In cooperation with SITC Education staff, ensure the resource library and applicable online components support education initiatives, society priorities and the overall education portal
  • Ensure content consistency and quality through the use of best practices, templates and resources
  • Assist in writing, revising, and creating online learning activities and enduring educational materials in direct collaboration with subject matter experts and the online education team
  • Collaborate with other Society staff and external organizations on learning activities and online resources to expand the knowledge and impact of Cancer Immunotherapy in the oncology community for a wide array of constituency groups and target audiences
  • With the Development Department, provide project information for grant submission, reporting and reconciliation needs
  • Other duties as assigned


Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience preferred
Experience working within one or more database systems
Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with curriculum development and adult learning principles preferred
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills
Must meet deadlines and have an acute attention to detail and high accuracy on outputs.
Ability to work independently but also with teams, both internally and externally


Travel of up to 2 weeks per year
Some evening and weekend work as needed
Occasional lifting, up to 50 pounds
