Grants Manager, CARRA
CLIENT ASSOCIATION(S): Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA)
REPORTS TO: Director of Administration, CARRA
GENERAL SUMMARY:  Work closely with the CARRA Director of Administration to administer CARRA’s internal grants and research related projects.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (Minimum of 37.5 hours/week):
  1. Manage CARRA Grant submission and review process.
  2. Maintain communication timelines with CARRA grant recipients, including award notification, collection of progress reports, and other program related follow-up communications.
  3. Develop/produce grant-related summary reports.
  4. Manage grant fund distribution through appropriate accounting channels
  5. Manage the tracking and posting of CARRA Member publications.
  6. Manage the publication review process.
  7. Support Director of Administration in the development of internal and external communications about CARRA research activities, including regular newsletter and website communications.
  8. Other duties as assigned.
AMOUNT OF TRAVEL REQUIRED: Approximately 10 days per year; some evening and weekend work may be required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree; excellent organizational and communications skills; computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; high accuracy; attention-to-detail. Previous experience with grants, contracts, and clinical research.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: grants management, contracts management, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Subjects Protection Training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
