The QA Productivity Analyst will be responsible for monitoring productivity and quality assurance programs for Prelude’s Revenue Cycle Services team.  This position works collaboratively with accounting/finance, and the Revenue Cycle Services Managers to achieve Revenue Cycle yearly and monthly goals and objectives. This role will monitor Revenue Cycle team’s individual and team performance metrics. Works with department managers to ensure productivity and quality standards are met throughout the year. Assist management team in initiating performance improvement plans as needed for low performers.
 
Essential Responsibilities:
 
  • Assess opportunities to improve internal workflows; ensure best methods and tools are utilized
  • Participate in regular department meetings in an effort to communicate all relevant information to mangers and staff members in an effective and timely manner. Discuss results related not only to AR metrics but productivity and quality assurance with appropriate management team; discusses coaching and development needs with management teams and partners.
  • Assists management team by working collaboratively and professionally with operational staff. Demonstrates strong commitment to stakeholder relationships by taking ownerships of issues, facilitating effective and timely outcomes, communicating results and providing education as indicated.
  • Ensures compliance with Federal and State Regulatory Requirements and insurance billing guidelines. Ensure all team members adhere to internal policies/procedures
  • Compile consistent reporting statistics to document team performance.
  • Actively contribute to and achieve team performance of set Operational Goals and objectives.
  • Provide effective training of all supervised staff members to achieve the appropriate level of knowledge required to fulfill their specific job requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned, and in keeping with Prelude’s policies, procedures, compliance, standards of patient care and/or initiatives toward continuous improvement at the individual and organizational level.
Education and/or Experience:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Related Field or Business preferred; or Three (3) years’ experience in Healthcare Accounts Receivable
  • Specialty related billing experience preferred
  • Data analysis and interpretation of financial reports
  • Federal and State Regulatory Requirements, relative to medical billing and collections in a professional billing environment
  • Ability to prepare organized memoranda, spreadsheets, graphs and correspondence
  • Strong ability to work independently and as a team member with peers
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9 and HCPCS
  • Fluent knowledge of entire revenue cycle process
