Tennessee Fertility Institute (TFI) will provide patients access to some of the highest success rates in the country through Prelude's proven clinical outcomes.
TFI offers comprehensive reproductive healthcare services, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), elective egg freezing, access to donors and surrogates and fertility preservation services for oncology patients. The 6,000-square-foot-Institute features an on-site fertility clinic, as well as innovative technology with a state-of-the-art IVF laboratory.
We are looking for an experience Nurse Practitioner with a passion for women's health. We anticipate the NP joining will work 2-3 days per week and rotate weekends.
Perform initial patient screening and patient history and physical exams
Maintains own schedule of daily patients in collaboration with attending physician
Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment
Orders, schedules and/or performs laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures such as urinalyses, pregnancy and blood tests, and x-rays
Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
Performs monitoring & non-monitoring ultrasounds, such as ovulation induction monitoring, imaging for evaluation of frozen embryo transfers and during embryo transfers.
Deliver quality care while maintaining company metrics pertaining to productivity
Serve as a resource for patients by providing ongoing care information, counseling, and provide guidance
Educates patient on health habits, self-examinations, behavior management, need for follow-up assessments/treatments, at home medical care, medication and other issues related to medical or health problems.
Nurse Practitioner is expected to stay within the bounds of what their credentialing and license will allow
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
Master’s degree in Nursing
A minimum of 3 year of nursing experience
Valid Nurse Practitioner License in TN
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
