Project Architect – Atlanta, GA
 
The Atlanta office of Lord Aeck Sargent, A Katerra Company is looking for a highly motivated Project Architect, preferably a registered architect, with excellent design and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work well with people at all levels of the firm and will take the initiative to research, design and implement complex housing & mixed-use and higher education projects. 
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Background/Education
  • Professional (NAAB Accredited) Degree in Architecture / Licensed Architect preferred (or in progress)
  • Must have 5 to 7 years of experience working in an architectural design firm
  • Strong Revit and production skills
  • Multi-family housing experience required
  • Higher Education experience preferred
Knowledge and Skillset Required
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Experience building and nurturing client relationships.
  • Graphic communication skills to support a variety of presentation media: presentation drawings, marketing materials, feasibility studies, etc. proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign
  • Skilled in analytical thinking to support the design process
  • Self-motivated individual able to work well in a collaborative office environment
  • Good computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, deadlines and interact effectively with others in the workplace is an essential function of the job.
