Maintenance Technician - Petrolia, ON 
 
We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic, and motivated Maintenance worker who wants to be a part of a team that is passionate about our products and the success and growth of our business. Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, the Maintenance Team members are responsible for all maintenance tasks involving plumbing/piping, air and water filtration, landscaping, greenhouse repairs/ upkeep, gutters, drains, roof leaks, duct leaks, machine assembly and disassembly, “handy” work, and general site improvements.
 
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring completion and documentation of all tasks assigned by the Facilities Supervisor
  • Preventative maintenance, repair and/or replacement of all filtration, piping, ductwork, and insulation
  • Preventative Maintenance for eyewash stations, safety showers and other safety equipment
  • Repair of greenhouses and components
  • Carpentry, general repairs, and upgrades
  • Repair, replacement, installation and general maintenance of various facilities equipment
  • Landscaping duties including lawn cutting, tree cutting, general yard maintenance
  • Manual labour including some heavy lifting, working from ladders, and outdoor tasks
  • Other duties as assigned
Demonstrable Skills, Experience & Education:
  • 1 year working in a maintenance role, preferably in a commercial/industrial setting
  • 1 year working a construction-based role is an asset
  • Current fork lift and scissor lift training is an asset
  • Demonstrated work history using power & hand tools
  • Experience with a Work-Order management system; prioritizing work orders, and progress reports
  • Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain A/RPIC status as per Health Canada Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations
