Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Inventory Supervisor is responsible for maintaining secure and accurate product inventory, while overseeing all processes, movements, and reconciliations on a daily basis.  
 
Role and Responsibilities
  • Ensure daily reconciliation of cannabis leaving and returning is completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Oversee and assist where necessary with all inventory counts
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Work with finance to ensure counts and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures, manage improvements to systems, reports, and processes through our Change Control program
  • Provide support for in house inventory program – Acumatica (must become the Subject Matter Expert)
  • Maintain contact with the Master Scheduler to ensure accuracy in scheduling
  • Oversee and ensure FIFO (first in, first out), product staging for various stages of processing
  • Participating in weekly scheduling meetings to prepare for all manufacturing activities to come
  • Manage improvements to systems and processes through our Change Control program
  • Must be able to lift up to 20kg 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Grade 12 required.
  • Post – secondary education in Supply Chain is preferred.
  • 5-7 years' progressive experience in a Supply Chain Management role,Inventory or Materials Management.
  • 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices is an asset
  • Experience in basic accounting, inventory or warehousing is an asset
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising and communicating
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Extremely detail-oriented and analytical thinker
  • Able to interface directly with cross functional teams
  • Able to develop, review, and maintain metrics and audits
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications
