The Trade Marketing Coordinator Eastern Canada will be responsible for assisting in management of all Eastern Canada trade marketing responsibilities. This position will have key responsibilities to manage all applications and listing processes with applicable liquor boards which will be imperative to ensuring proper execution of our programs in store.  This position will accountable for helping manage all trade marketing retail grids and budget files with accuracy and efficiency. This role will need to be able to work independently when the TMM East is travelling to other western provinces for customer meetings. 
 
The Trade Marketing Coordinator East will be working closely with the trade marketing manager east on bringing to life ideas and programming for execution across the west.  They will have key input into how programs will come to life in store.  Will be responsible for procuring programming tools and making sure on time delivery is a priority for the sales team and our customers.
 
 
Roles and Responsibilities 
  • Support a seamless translation of Brand strategy into Trade Marketing strategy
  • Work with trade marketing manager to develop internal ways of working, (processes, best practices, scope of responsibility) to ensure business objectives are met effectively and efficiently
  • Create value for sales teams by creating various sell sheets and other tools to help them sell in products/programs both on and off trade in every region for every period
  • Manage retail programming applications to the Regional Cannabis Boards
  • Manage product listing applications to the Regional Cannabis Boards
  • Responsible for all trade marketing work backs for Eastern Canada & delivering all programming on time
  • Assist Trade Marketing Manager with other day to day activities with agencies and suppliers
  • Occasional work with briefs for creative agency & internal creative team
  • Working with internal creative team & brand teams on building creative POS for the region
  • Working with suppliers to develop, source and execute sales tools
  • Working with promotional warehouse to manage and track all inventory for High Park
  • Assisting in management of retail programming calendars for total East
  • Assist in budget management files and tracking of budget targets
  • Maintain a clear line of communication between Trade Marketing Manager East and sales reps programming inquiries
  • Communication with sales rep team on ad hoc requests and execution of those requests
  • Collaborate on developing customer presentations and analysis
  • Accountable for all finance admin requests and execution
 
Qualifications and Education Requirements 
  • Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or Commerce
  • 1-2+ years of Trade Marketing and/or Sales Coordinator experience within a Cannabis, Consumers Packaged Goods, Beverage Alcohol, Pharmaceutical industry
  • 1+ year of budget management experience is preferred
  • Experience in Key Account Management with a focus on government operations such as the OCS or Atlantic boards 
  • Shopper marketing experience an asset
  • Analytical background is an asset
  • Innovative, creative and forward thinker
  • Superior cross functional communication skills (spoke, written, comprehension)
  • Strong time management and results driven
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
  • The willingness to balance both office hours and meaningful time in market
  • Entrepreneurial in spirit while also leveraging the assets that come from being a part of a global company
