Reporting to Labels Manager, the Label Coordinator has the responsibility to support the labelling team and their initiatives by helping to keep track of all global and regional requests, timelines, correspondence with the production agencies and Tilray facilities.  They will coordinate and manage the day-to-day process of label requirements for both adult recreational and medical products.
 
Role and Responsibilities 
 
Project Coordination:
  • Ensures the labels process runs smoothly from capturing the initial requests through to the production and internal approval procedures before going to print.  Oversees each request through the process and is able to provide visibility to the status and timeline of each request
  • Ensures every project is identified, provided a timeline, is integrated with the Production Design team schedule of priorities and traceable until it goes to print
  • Works closely with the Production Design team to ensure all relevant data is provided accurately within the Label Creative Request forms and the Label Design Approval forms
  • Corresponds with the project owners, and operating facilities, to ensure adequate timelines are managed as they relate to the production schedule and when the final labels are required
  • Facilitates change requests as required with the Production Team, label print agencies and facilities
  • Ensures proper documentation and record keeping for historical work is maintained, and helps search and provide examples from previous work for reference as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Project management experience – demonstrated management of a multi-departmental process
  • Production skills are a significant plus
  • Familiar with Label control processes in an end-to-end fashion
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ideal candidate would have knowledge of global standards for labelling and barcoding
  • Must have post-secondary education; a degree/diploma in Business, Project Management, or Communications desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience directly related to planning and project management
  • Strong computer skills in a Windows environment; strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Visio an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight, competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects and strategy based on defined corporate goals and initiatives
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments and key business partners
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently, with minimal supervision on day to day tasks
  • Experience in a business environment required, with experience in high growth or startup an asset
