Sales Strategy Manager - OTC & HPC - Minneapolis, MN 
 
Summary:
Sales Strategy Manager, who thrives on creating best in class strategies and capabilities to enable customer and operational success.  You will work closely with the Sales team as well as cross-functional  points in Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, R&D, and Customer Service.  As a Sales Strategy Manager, you will be part of a highly engaged, high performing, collaborative and fun sales team. We pride ourselves on having strong ethics and a great sense of responsibility to each other.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide Sales expertise to cross-functional team during innovation commercialization process:
    • Provide category analytics, including competitor and market trends
    • Understanding customer needs for sell-in and reset timing
    • Help develop pricing & promotion strategies
    • Partner with shopper marketing team to create sales driving in-store materials
  • Own Innovation execution process with Sales Team
    • Develop Best in Class New Item Sales Materials
    • Provide training to field team on Innovation Sell-in
    • Aid in the forecast/demand planning
    • Manage communication flow between sales and marketing
    • New item sell-in tracking and in-market performance analysis
  • Partner with sales team to create retailer specific presentations
  • Assist in the implementation, tracking and compliance of any strategy change (ex. price change)
  • Other duties as assigned by the organization
Requirements:
  • Must want to make a meaningful difference in people lives through the transforming power of Hemp!
  • Entrepreneurial Sales Manager with at least 5 years of Business Development/Sales experience, preferably in OTC supplements and working with Health Care Practitioners.
  • Experience at having successfully developed and executed sales plans & new item sell-in at key accounts.  
  • Ability to collaborate and think entrepreneurially  
  • Recognized ability to successfully grow sales revenue and strong customer satisfaction that align with the company’s goals, aspirations and strategies. 
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and thrive in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment that requires flexibility, adaptability and being scrappy. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and close business in meetings. 
  • Skilled in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, and Word) 
  • BS/BA required.
  • Minimal Domestic and International travel (Canada) is required: >5%.
