Reporting to the Documentation and Labelling Coordinator, the Documentation and Labelling Technician is responsible for execution of label printing activities, and following Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents to accurately capture processes and procedures within a high-tempo environment.   This role requires an individual with exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated computer literacy.  
 
Roles and responsibilities
  • Ongoing production and printing of labels
  • Performs routine print maintenance and keep up.
  • Troubleshoot the printers for all printing related issues
  • Maintains detailed documentation as required.
  • Check the label print against templates to ensure correct layout
  • Check operation of printer, clean, adjust as required to ensure optimal print quality
  • Prepare orders as required; pulling materials to run the Production.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
  • Reporting issues or problems with production runs, labels and documentation to the Documentation and Labelling coordinator.
  • Packaging and materials inspection
  • Review and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Qualifications
 
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and process completion skills
  • Previous experience with inventory control is an asset
  • Work independently and possess strong decision-making skills
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, GMP, ISO environment considered an asset
  • Basic Math skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and Office
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience in inventory and ordering control
  • Problem solving skills, working with equipment, mechanical aptitude
  • Technical writing skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task and follow up on actions / issues
