Packaging Associate - London, ON 
Reporting to the Procurement Specialist, the Packaging Associate will work in conjunction with other departments to ensure our packaging processes and materials are optimized and robust. The Packaging Associate aids in the ongoing improvement of High Park Farms packaging processes/systems.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Attitude; positive outlook, willingness to learn and contribute to company success
  • Work with marketing and research and development to translate packaging concepts into operational deliverables while optimizing robustness
  • In conjunction with the Engineer make recommendations to optimizing the lines from a packaging perspective
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop robust packaging and material specifications
  •  Ensuring the effective execution of packaging tasks within established company policy, procedure and requirements (Safety, Quality, Compliance)
  • Learning to work at a level of performance identifiable with world class organizations with the goal of continuous process improvement every day
  • Identify and communicate with Manufacturing Manager any packaging issues/concerns

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Post secondary education in a related field required
  • A minimum of two years prior experience working in a food or health care industry in packaging processing and with packaging equipment
  • Ability to work in a results oriented, challenging environment
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft applications
  • Positive outlook, willingness to learn and contribute to company success
  • Maintain confidentiality and attain necessary skills/competencies 
  • Ability to take direction and follow all company policies/procedures
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Positive contribution and personal commitment/responsibility 
Ability to obtain A/RPIC status as per Health Canada ACMPR Regulations
