Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Shipping Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the manager in supervising the Shipping Technician(s) and ensuring the safe and effective execution of day to day tasks.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist manager by identifying work procedures; prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow;
  • Ensure correct shipment of national and international orders in accordance to established policies and SOPs;
  • Lead and Supervise, all assigned personnel, in the safe and effective execution of all duties;
  • Accordance with established company policy, procedure and additional requirements (Safety, Quality, Compliance & KPI’s);
  • Prepare all rooms for operations, including necessary A/RPIC coverage, equipment/supplies and cleaning/sanitation verification;
  •  Acquire and verify all raw materials/product from the vault;
  •  Direct the safe and effective set-up, operation and take-down of all equipment;
  •  Consistently evaluate worker safety, product quality, SOP compliance and schedule status;
  •  Secure and deliver all product/waste to the vault within established schedule/timeframe;
  •  Direct personnel and assist with room and equipment cleaning and sanitization;
  •  Fully and accurately complete and submit all required documentation and records;
  •  Order Processing, Cancellation & Modification.

Qualifications and Education requirements

  • Must have completed a Logistics Certificate or Diploma or equivalent;
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience in a supervisory or similar role; 
  • Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications;
  • Strong inventory and production management skills;
  • Must possess excellent communication skills for communicating with peers;
  • Highly capable of multi-tasking, with minimal supervision;
  • Good level of English is mandatory;
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
