Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Eastern Canadian Sales, the Sales Ambassador will contribute in three key ways; Firstly, High Park will be known for delivering THE best customer service to our retail partners.  This will be achieved by executing high energy, informative, and compelling in-store brand activation to consumers via retail accounts. Armed with exciting marketing programs and consumer giveaways, Brand ambassadors will engage in discussions with consumers of all demographics at a variety of different locations and customers – leveraging education and cannabis knowledge as a platform to entice consumers to purchase our brands. Secondly, you will be asked to become an educator to retail teams – using your vast knowledge of cannabis and High Park brands & growing techniques, you will offer retail teams engaging information sessions on High Park and how to speak to and sell our products. You will bring your own style of education to the table and make each session fun and memorable.  Lastly, you will assist the Field Sales Specialists in your territory with store calls, surveys, display builds, and various other tasks that will play a role in ensuring the High Park reputation flourishes across Canada. This role is best suited to an organized individual with a passion for the business who has excellent communication skills.
 
 
Roles and responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Field Sales Specialist team and Regional Business Manager to execute in store activation and staff training sessions
  • Execute and maintain a customer visit routine that reinforces High Parks goal of delivering best in class service to the industry
  • Be motivated by delivering results against a specific set of targets
  • Report out on market observations and competitive insights on a regular basis
  • Assist in display set ups and audit stores regularly to ensure compliance
  • Work to maintain preferred shelf positioning in store by leveraging category insights and retailing best practices
  • Work with retailers to maintain adequate inventory levels across the full brand portfolio effectively eliminating the risk of out of stocks
 
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Successful completion of a College diploma
  • Knowledge of cannabis industry, cannabis strains, terpenes, and cannabinoids.
  • At least 1 year of B2B sales experience in packaged goods, beverage, alcohol or pharmaceutical industries
  • Position required ability to travel on a regular basis including overnight and/or weekend travel- 50% travel
  • Must have reliable automobile transportation, driver’s license and excellent driving record
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
  • Excellent communication skills (Written, Spoken etc…)
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
  • Energetic and highly motivated to exceed sales targets
