Summary 
 
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Continuous Improvement Analyst is responsible for ensuring that Facilities Department’s compliance and regulatory requirements are being met as per HighPark Holdings commitment to Good Documentation Practices and Health Canada requirements , or any other governing body or regulatory agency. The Facilities Analyst is the point of contact between the Facilities Department and the other validation and Compliance Specialists representative of the other HighPark departments; this includes but is not exclusive to the QA/QC department, Manufacturing, Production, R&D, IT, HR, and regulatory Compliance.
 
Role and Responsibilities
  • Works with Facilities Manager to formulate and disseminate enterprise level policies and directives.
  • Performs internal audits of Facilities programs and creates reports for the local GM and Facilities Manager to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Works with Facility Manager & Maintenance Supervisor to ensure department SOP documentation and JTO processes are up to date and meeting F&M department requirements.
  • Generating SOPs in accordance with company GMP/HC compliance strategy and ensuring SOPs are up to date and accurate.
  • Takes direction from GMP/HC representative to ensure Facilities Department remains compliant at the ground level.
  • Maintains the GMP/HC critical equipment asset list and ensures that the CMMS system in relation to said list is current and operating as required.
  • Meets regularly with Facilities manager, and Maintenance supervisor to review compliance related issues, timelines, and evaluate progress.
  • Works with QA/QC and Facilities GMP/HC representative to facilitate the GMP/HC compliance process and ensure continuing compliance.
  • Creates, manages, and implements the Installation and Operational Qualification procedures and documentation.
  • Creates, manages, and implements all equipment commissioning documentation.
  • Manage program to keep relevant calibrated equipment compliant, including but not limited to: scales, pipettes, and handheld devices.
  • Maintain CMMS forms, user permissions, asset registry, etc.
  • Build and maintain manual registry for technical documentation related to assets.
  • Review documentation practices within the facilities department to maintain compliance and data integrity, which may include internal auditing.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Post-secondary CEGEP/vocational or technical training an asset.
  • General understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems an asset.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years related experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with DDC, BAS, or BMS process control software would be an asset.
  • Strong competency in CMMS and Preventative Maintenance programs.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be organized and able to document all work.
  • Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications is required.
