Marketing Project Manager, Minneapolis Minnesota
 
 
Position Scope
 
Manitoba Harvest is expanding to deliver transformational growth.  This is position will play a key role in the development and commercialization of multiple innovation and marketing projects for the company.  The right candidate will possess a highly collaborative communication style, an ability to form deep trusting relationships, an agile entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to navigate a fast-paced environment requiring prioritization and delivering against commitments to keep the business moving and developing.
 
 
The Marketing Project Manager’s responsibilities include:
  • Lead product innovation, packaging and creative projects, working across cross-functional teams, agency partners and external vendors to deliver results on time.
  • Create detailed work plans which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete various projects
  • Review the project schedule and expectations with key team members at stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
  • Understand and align on the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete various projects
  • Develop project tracking system and visibility tools for project stakeholders
  • Direct and manage project workflows and provide regular updates and keep all stakeholders in the loop on project progress.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Identify and resolve challenges. Assess needs and make recommendations for support as needed.
  • Serve as the project communications hub and facilitate connections to identify solutions and gain alignment.
Competencies/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance or General Management
  • 2-3 years of relevant project management or marketing experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM Certification is preferred
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Able to demonstrate highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity, change in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to inspire and lead cross functionally with internal and external teams, as well as agency partners
  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, PowerPoint and e-mail required with strong
    Excel skills, Data base management, project management tools
