Regional Manager, Manitoba Harvest - Latin America

Reporting to the General Manager (GM), Regional Manager (RM) will be responsible for the development and execution of the company’s long-term strategic plan to realize sustainable, profitable growth. The RM will develop and inspire a lean and high-performing regional sales team that strives for greater levels of excellence at a regional level.
Role and Responsibilities 
  • Drive the development and execution of the annual revenue plan in concert with the company’s strategic plan and margin expectations
  • Lead the sales and marketing teams and resources to deliver profitable growth
  • Identify, develop accounts that represent significant growth opportunities
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Continuously improve and measure the effectiveness of key sales and marketing processes to include opportunity pipeline management, including driving the direct report meetings as well as monthly sales meetings
  • Manage and work with the Director of Sales and Director of Marketing, Business Development & Management to develop annual plans to drive and support company objectives and the long-term strategic plan
  • Coach, develop and empower the Sales team to ensure company revenue goals are met and employees are properly incented
  • Support and help implement continuous process improvements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of proven ability to build, lead and manage a national sales force within a product or services or organization. Consumer goods and retail food industry highly desired
  • Bachelor’s degree MBA preferred
  • Ability to manage hyper growth in an emerging market
  • Global markets experience a plus
  • Having an understanding of networking and referral-based sales tactics
  • Experience with cultivating centers of influence within a variety of business
  • Self-motivated, disciplined and highly driven to meet goals and deadlines – high activity orientation
  • Strong communication, sales and presentation skills
  • Ability to initiate change and manage varying priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrable success in consumer products
  • Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications
  • Advance English required
  • Business travelling requirements: 60%.
