Reporting in to Senior Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Associate – Document Control is responsible for maintaining and
developing GMP / Quality document control systems and facilitation of the Change Control and Training systems to ensure compliance
for Health Canada’s Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) and Eudralex Vol 4 Part I and II Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the document control system for all GMP and/or ACMPR-relevant documentation including MBRs and
  • SOPs
  • Assist with administering the Training System and track and report company-wide training compliance
  • Facilitate the Change Control System including committee meetings and communicate respective KPIs
  • Ensure that all department managers and supervisors are properly trained in document control, change control, and training
  • system procedures by developing and/or presenting training materials
  • Assist with the ongoing development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the GMP program and quality
  • management system
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Previous experience in GMP or ISO or equivalent is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in an administration or science-related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with ACMPR and Eudralex Vol 4 Part I and II GMP guidelines is an asset
  • Excellent understanding of quality management systems
  • Be detail-orientated, highly organized, and an independent thinker
  • Strong analytical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly capable of multi-tasking, with minimal supervision
  • Able to interface directly with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have the ability to obtain A/RPIC status as per Health Canada’s Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations
  • (ACMPR)
