Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Master Scheduler will be responsible for the Production and Manufacturing scheduling of all critical operations based on customer requirements, materials, and capacity.  Master Schedule is a collaborative and effective communicator, working closely with Production, Manufacturing and Global Exports to identify constraints, bottlenecks and conflicts, but most importantly to ensure product is available for our patients.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Ensure execution of the Tilray Grow Plan.
  • Prepare the Master Schedule with a minimum of 6-8 weeks advanced planning.
  • Work with the requesting client/department to ensure purchase orders are accurate, complete, and actionable.
  • Enter purchase order details into the Purchase Order Database
  • Transfer relevant data to a Work Order Request to be submitted to the Scheduling Committee for review.
  • Collaborate with all departments and stakeholders to best meet all customer requirements.
  • Report all conflicts, bottlenecks and missed critical deadlines to the General Manager.
  • Provide visibility to the Sales and Marketing team of product deliverable and capacity.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the company MRP.
  • Prepare and maintain progress and other reports including Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Degree in business or supply chain management.
  • 7 years of experience as a Scheduler in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of MPS/MRP, demand flow, JIT, forecasting, inventory planning, Kanban, and supply chain design
  • Experience with Acumatica software systems is considered an asset
  • Excellent ability to anticipate potential issues and innovative in finding solutions.
  • Previous work history with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and SLT.
