Reporting to the Research and Special Project Manager, you will have a strong foundation in cannabis vape pen formulations and associated hardware. This is a multi-functional role involving collaborations across various internal and external stake holders. The Vape Technician will be responsible for formulation activities, research, competitive intelligence, and overall vapourized cannabis related projects. The Vape Technician will have strong communication skills, be a team player, and can handle dynamic high stress situations/environment. 
Role and Responsibilities
  • Research and competitive intelligence on cannabis vape formulations, technology and filling equipment
  • Perform and assist with Research & Development vape formulation and fill activities
  • Document test results and maintain detailed laboratory records
  • Monitor use of inventories and supplies, maintain appropriate supply levels
  • Contribute to creating the overall vape strategy and products for the company
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with brand managers to ensure products are aligned
  • Additional duties as required
  • Post-secondary degree in technical field
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of vape products across all geographies and markets
  • Knowledge of various cannabis extraction and products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent planning, prioritization and organizational skills to ensure that tasks are completed.
