Reporting to the EVP of Global Corporate Affairs, the Global Communications Coordinator is responsible for providing timely and accurate administrative support activities to the Tilray Global Corporate Affairs team while also contributing to editorial efforts by drafting, editing and publishing various internal and external pieces within a rapid-growth company.
Roles and responsibilities
  • Handles all routine administrative functions, including expense management, travel, executive scheduling, routine calls and correspondence for the Corporate Affairs department
  • Provides editorial support by writing, editing and publishing various materials as needed across Tilray’s internal and external communications channels
  • Supports media relations efforts including drafting certain announcements, maintaining media distribution lists and coordinating release publications through the company’s wire services vendor
  • Reviews and coordinates response to emails submitted to email boxes for the public Web site
  • Supports internal and external Corporate Affairs events and activities as needed across Tilray’s global facilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel), Microsoft Outlook, Adobe and Concur travel and expense management
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in writing or editing is required
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in English, Journalism, Communications or related field
  • The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience
