Clare Oaks is looking for an experienced, dynamic Sr. Sales Counselor to exceed Independent Living sales goals. 
Clare Oaks is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community governed by a thoughtful, committed Board of Directors.   We provide a wonderful experience on a daily basis for our residents.  We are driven by our mission of existing to nourish, celebrate and enhance the mind, body and spirit.   More than 190 seniors make our Residential Living apartments and cottages home.   The Assisi Healthcare Center at Clare Oaks provides assisted living, memory support, long-term care, and transitional rehabilitation services.
The Sr. Sales Counselor is responsible for conducting direct sales activity. This includes hosting prospects for on-site visits, making home visits to prospects; making purposeful follow-up calls and other activities to educate and move prospects forward in the sales process.  The Sr. Sales Counselor will provide educational presentations about the benefits of Clare Oaks and the continuum of care as well as actively participate in marketing events promoting Clare Oaks.  The Sr. Sales Counselor will also generate new leads and referrals through relationship building with key influencers, professionals, prospects and prospects families.

The successful candidate for this position will be a committed professional who has the following qualifications:
·         Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in sales, previous experience in a CCRC or home sales environment preferred
  • Presents self for an initial impression of warmth and friendliness and having a caring manner
  • Ability to identify and plan engaging activities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present in front of large and small groups
  • Ability to work independently and be a collaborative member of a team
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed
