Summit Care, Inc. provides contract therapy services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies, to patient and residents of hospitals, nursing centers, and assisted living facilities.  We are currently seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team in the Overland Park, KS area.  This role is an integral position on our team.  Primary duties of this opportunity include the following:
  • Ensures compliance with employee records, including license verifications, required health testings, and trainings.
  • Audits records on a periodic basis to ensure consistency.
  • Acts as an owner of the employee filing system, ensuring that data is recorded and stored appropriately.
  • Assists with billing initiatives.
  • Acts as the back-up to bi-weekly payroll processing.
  • Acts as the back-up for employee onboarding processes.
  • Orders all company-related supplies and tracks to budget.
  • Provides prompt and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
  • All other duties as required and assigned.
This position will work in a standard office setting using office equipment (computer, fax, copier, scanner).  Lifting up to 25 pounds could be occasionally required. Travel is not a requirement for this role. 
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of office experience, including a demonstrated history of medical billing experience.  Experience in the healthcare field is preferred, bit not required.  The role requires a detailed thinker with excellent follow-up and organizational skills.  Experience with PayCor is strongly preferred but not required.  Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook and Excel), as well as familiarity with SharePoint, is required.  An Associate’s Degree in a business-related field (or equivalent) is required.
