Compass Airlines is seeking a Technical Operations Training Administrator to join our team at our Minneapolis, Minnesota – Headquarters location. We are looking for an innovative and technical individual, with exceptional business judgment, as well as the initiative and competence to make a significant contribution to the Compass organization.

Job Purpose:
Under the general direction of the Director of Quality & Chief Inspector and reporting directly to the Manager, Technical Operations Training, the Technical Operations Training Administrator will provide day to day oversight to the Technical Operations Trainers including direct oversight and responsibility for scheduling and deployment coordination.
 
Job Qualifications:
Required:
  • Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to accept employment in the U.S.
  • Have a valid high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical training environment or technical administrative position.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.
Preferred:
  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Previous training experience
  • Previous aviation experience
 
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift, carry and move light to medium weight of 10 – 30 pounds.
  • Ability to withstand long periods of working seated at a desk.
 
Job Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Proficiency in use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be detail orientated and able to multi-task

Job Specifics:
  • Forecast, coordinate, and schedule all training requirements to maintain training efficiencies and travel cost control
  • Enrolls and monitors contracted maintenance personnel in the company LMS to ensure compliance
  • Will act in conjunction with the Manger, Tech Ops Training to ensure a high level of training, safety, production, and quality are maintained
  • Oversee the integrity and accuracy of all maintenance training documentation and required entries in the Computer Based Tracking System
  • Ensure recurrent training is scheduled prior to expiration of qualifications
  • Oversight of the Read/Record process for Tech Ops Training
  • Coordinate contract vendor activity for Maintenance Deployments
  • Ensure Maintenance Training Records are maintained and updated
  • Provide instruction to computer based tracking system (CBTS) modules.
  • Support Manager in developing, maintaining, and revising technical operations training forms
  • Develop compliance and scheduling reports
  • Other duties as assigned
